Tasting Notes Dark brown almost chocolatey and ripe tasting tea. Round tannins, full bodied, with a big structure and fleshy. Tea was first planted here in the 1870s after the flourishing coffee industry was destroyed by a leaf blight. Tasting Notes Medium brown with tints of orange. An almost savoury taste. Fruity, exotic perfume with a 'balance' in taste from the ample tannins, strong but not brooding. Comparable to a Pinot Noir wine made from grapes grown in cool climates.
